Top 5 Android apps

By TheTechDad

It’s becoming interesting to check other people’s phones and see what apps they have downloaded. If you check out my phone, you’ll see a predictable series of sporting apps, news feeds, and social networking tools. Pick up my daughter’s Droid from Verizon and there are dozens of games, special effects, and ring tones.

However, there are a few apps that just separate themselves from everything else when it comes to quality, entertainment value, and sheer cleverness! Apps that everyone should have because they’re just too good to miss.

If you have an Android phone, here are my Top 5 killer apps. (And, yes, they are all free!)

1. Kindle for Android. If you already have a Kindle, this app will quickly become indispensable. Everything on your Kindle becomes instantly available on your phone and you can even sync down to the last page that you read. If you don’t have a Kindle, then your phone becomes the perfect pocket e-reader.

2. Pandora Radio. Turn your phone into your own personal on-the-go radio station. Pick just one song or an artist and Pandora will stream a playlist perfectly matched to your selection.

3. Barcode Scanner. Want to know if you have the best deal? Simply scan a product’s bar code and let the app go to work. It will search Google’s Product database or look for it elsewhere on the Web. In just a few seconds, you’ll find out if you can find the same product cheaper somewhere else.

4. Google Goggles.
A sensational app that will just get better over time. Take a picture of an object with your camera phone and Google will attempt to recognize it and return the relevant search results. The app can even recognize foreign text and translate it – perfect if you are abroad and can’t read signs!

5. Bump. Want to transfer photos, contacts, or even apps between two phones? Just open the Bump app on both phones, select the content you want to share, and bump your hands together. It even works with the iPhone.

As you may have guessed, it is made of titanium and some stainless steel¡ªthe case is titanium and the rolex replica sale is stainless steel. The dial is brown, the watch hands are silver-toned, and there is a date window at the four o¡¯clock position. The sapphire case protects the breitling replica sale from water damage up to 30 meters. Synergy means cooperative action. This replica watches uk combines the best of the old and the new to deliver something uniquely modern. All of the classic elements are there. It has the sleek and stylish dial of the replica watches uk, the concave dot at the 12 o¡¯clock hour, and the Swiss quartz movement. But the Sapphire Synergy has something few breitling replica sale offer, a rubber wristband. Why rubber? Well, it¡¯s not a sport rolex replica sale, so using it outdoors is out of the question. But the informal band gives it a more casual look and feel, which can be quite appealing to the modern male.
