Need to keep the kids occupied this Holiday season? Then fire up the smartphone, download a few games and let their thumbs do the talking. Whether it’s waiting in line for Santa Claus or killing time on the on the way to grandma’s house, smartphone games can provide an almost endless distraction for kids of any age.

The following games are all simple to learn and can be played solo or with siblings and friends. There are even some that Mom will love. But be careful, it’s easy to become addicted!

Plants vs. Zombies
