Shopping – chore or fun? New service helps consumers!
By Monica Vila
Today’s technology innovation is only surpassed by the creative use consumers make of it, and it has come to improve or facilitate many of our daily activities to help us focus on other priorities.
Take shopping for example. For many of us, shopping can be a fun experience given the right circumstances -- say when you find that perfect pair of shoes. But it can be a huge investment (read waste) of time, and down right unpleasant and stressful when it comes to the mad Holiday dash at the mall.
And if you are the parent of a teenage girl, well, then you can add a few more degrees of stress to the shopping experience. But I digress…
With online shopping continuing to grow among consumers – it has become accessible to everyone – it’s more important than ever to purpose shop and discover new brands to love. This is why I was excited to discover SweetRelish, a fun and useful way to search, organize, share and shop online.
Launched in late 2012, SweetRelish has improved on sites like Pinterest by providing users with the opportunity to purchase the items they “relish” right there and then. With SweetRelish, you can find items you love, put them on your Relish lists, and go buy them when you’re ready – a major time-saving feature.
SweetRelish also allows you to provide shopping hints for your loved ones. Remember those pink earmuffs you got for Valentine’s Day last year? Create your own Valentine’s Day wish list on SweetRelish and bingo, you’ll never have to worry about pink earmuffs again!
The Online Mom LLC receives a fee for participating in certain promotional campaigns for Sweet Relish. All opinions are my own.
