How Do I Become An Online Mom?

The Online Mom provides internet technology advice and information to help parents protect their kids, encourage responsible behavior and safely harness the power of technology in the new digital world. Social networking, photo sharing, video games, IM & texting, internet security, cyberbullying, educational resources, the latest on tech hardware, gadgets and software for kids 3-8, tweens and teens, and more.

Girl Ambition

Girl Ambition is a new community web site for tween girls. Started by three working moms, the site hopes to provide a safe, fun, positive, and inspirational environment for girls aged 8 – 13. Girls can play games, participate in arts and crafts, take quizzes, e-mail and chat with friends, and even raise a virtual pet.

Girls will get a kick out of the entertaining video content from the Dani Girl Show, an original web series featuring an 11 year old girl, and Gab TV, which encourages girls to create their own videos and upload them to the site. Girls can also opt to shop with their butterfly bucks, and explore how they can participate in community projects. And if they’re feeling creative, the Activity Studio is a place where they can find craft projects and submit their own ideas.

Parents will love the privacy and monitoring options, like having approval rights over their daughter’s buddy list and e-mail communications. They might also enjoy the information and resources available in the parents’ portion of the site, where they can keep up-to-date on hot tween topics, become more Internet savvy, explore family activities, and learn online safety tips.

A few of the cool features of the site include:

Gabbi’s World
Within this interactive page, girls can explore their own self image by creating a personal avatar, ask teen girls for advice, and learn about new girl trends from the Girl Ambition Esteem Team.

Clubhouse
The Clubhouse is an interactive space where girls have access to Gab Libs, contests for kids, healthy recipes in Snack Attack, and many more fun interactive online and offline activities created especially to build self esteem.

Activity Studio
In the Activity Studio girls are encouraged to spend time away from the computer and to explore their imagination. These fun activities are designed for girls to share their creativity with both friends and family.

Gab TV
Gab TV includes an inspirational girls’ web series hosted by Dani Girl. In Gab TV, girls have the ability to upload their very own fun kid videos to share with parents and friends.

Giving Tree
The Giving Tree is the philanthropic section where girls can understand the importance of giving back. Girls can get involved in charitable activities and learn how to help the less fortunate.

Although Girl Ambition has some great features and clearly puts the emphasis on building self-esteem, it arrives in a highly competitive marketplace, where numerous sites like Club Penguin, Beacon Street Girls, AlleyKatzz, and Mattel’s BarbieGirls compete for tween girls’ attention.

Girl Ambition offers a 30-day free trial. If your tween is still hooked after the trial period ends, subscription plans are available at $4.99 per month or $49.90 for a full year.

As you may have guessed, it is made of titanium and some stainless steel¡ªthe case is titanium and the rolex replica sale is stainless steel. Synergy means cooperative action. This replica watches uk combines the best of the old and the new to deliver something uniquely modern. All of the classic elements are there. It has the sleek and stylish dial of the replica watches uk, the concave dot at the 12 o¡¯clock hour, and the Swiss quartz movement. But the Sapphire Synergy has something few breitling replica sale offer, a rubber wristband. Why rubber? Well, it¡¯s not a sport rolex replica sale, so using it outdoors is out of the question. But the informal band gives it a more casual look and feel, which can be quite appealing to the modern male.
